Twas’ the night before Homecoming and all through the town,
Everyone is waiting for the big game to go down.
Players are fed at the church down the street
Uniting the team before their great feat.
Students are painting their floats with such care,
Laughing and bonding with glitter in hair.
Children look forward to the parade through downtown.
Candy and smiles are sure to be found.
A full day of celebration that lasts into the night.
Looking forward to football and Friday Night Lights!
One more sleep until the big day ahead,
Good Night Little LONGHORNS, it is now time for bed!
