Casualty Corporation of America, Inc. has been selected as one of the Top 100 Places to Work in the state of Oklahoma. The big announcement was made this morning on Main Street in Jones. City streets were shut down as staff from all the CCA buildings poured onto the street to hear the news. Noise makers and balloons were on-hand to top off the celebration.

The insurance company was purchased by Bill and Christie Dean in 1999, and boasted only one employee. Sandee Bates was hired by the Deans five years before to run their other businesses. She still remembers clearly Bill walking in her office and asking, “You want to sell a little insurance?” They sent Sandee all over the state to get new clients and policies. They have grown from this one employee to over 43. They have partnered with over 250 agents across the state, selling property, liability, and automobile insurance from Hooker, Oklahoma all the way to Broken Bow.
As one of the largest employers in town, they strive to offer a great place to work for local residents. Owner Christie Dean says, “We’re here to stay. We want to offer a really good place for people to work where they don’t have to drive all the way into Oklahoma City. We are really delighted to have been nominated by one of our employees.”

Christie Dean, Owner of CCA

The company was nominated by 5-year employee Debbie Johnson, stating “This is a great place to work because they are good to us. They have lunches, a wellness center, and game days”. CCA currently operates in seven buildings along Main Street in Jones, and they will be opening building number eight in January that will be the company’s new payment center. Employees can be found on their lunch breaks at the Wellness center walking on the treadmills or lifting weights. CCA also offers their employees a 401K with a 4% company match, a kids Christmas party, family fun days in the summer at Frontier City and White Water Bay, zoo passes, wellness incentives, mammograms, and on-site health screenings.
They are really good to us.
