Santa Visits the Masons

Christmas bells were ringing on Saturday morning, as the Jones Masonic Lodge hosted their monthly breakfast. Tim Cook’s famous holiday truck lit up the entrance outside as the smell of bacon and hot biscuits greeted you at the door. The Mason’s hold a pancake breakfast the first Saturday of every month, starting at 7:00 am until the food runs out. The meal is all-you-can-eat for $5, and children eat free. The menu this weekend included biscuits, gravy, bacon, eggs, sausage, hash browns, and of course, good ole’ pancakes hot off the griddle.

A special visitor from the North Pole attended the breakfast, delighting diners of all ages. Santa posed for pictures with giddy children and grown-ups alike.

In case you missed getting a picture with Santa this week, he will be flying back to Jones from the North Pole next Saturday, December 14th. He will be available for pictures at the C.G. Jones House on Hefner road from 9 am – 12 pm. We hope to see you there!
