Have you ever wanted to raise chickens in your own backyard, but don’t know how to get started? Do you currently raise chickens but would like a refresher? Well, now is the time to learn and to refresh your chicken knowledge!
The Jones Library (9295 Willa Way) will be hosting the Backyard Chickens 101 event for teens and adults on Tuesday, February 18 from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM for those looking to begin this hobby or to add to their current knowledge.
Presenter Joshua Campbell from the OSU Extension Office will be providing relevant information on breed selection, housing, food, care, predators/pests, and much more!
