Tyler McElhaney resigned from his seat on the Jones Board of Trustees last month. The remaining four Board members unanimously appointed Chris Branch to take his spot at Tuesday evenings special meeting. Chris will fill this seat until the next general election in April 2021.
It’s an honor to be appointed to the Board of Trustees. I am excited to see what we can do as a team to continue to make Jones a community where others want to move.
Chris Branch
Chris graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Agricultural Economics with a minor in both Finance and Business Economics. He also has a law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law. He currently works at Epoch Resources in Bricktown as the Vice President of Land Department.
Chris Branch has proven himself to be a valuable asset while serving on the Board of Adjustments. The knowledge and experience in municipal matters that he brings to the Jones Board of Trustees will help guide us to a bright future! I am proud to welcome to the Board.
Ray Poland, Mayor of Jones
Chris moved to Jones three years ago with his wife Mandy, and two children, Kinsley and Kason. Chris has served on the Jones Board of Adjustment for the last two years. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Mandy, for 11 years, and she serves our community as a Pre-K teacher at Jones Elementary School.
I am extremely excited to have Chris Branch on the Board of Trustees because he offers a wealth of knowledge and expertise.
Kacie Jasper, Vice-Mayor of Jones
