FBC Jones Hosts Vacation Bible School

The First Baptist Church of Jones is making a splash this summer, welcoming children from Pre-K through 6th grade to attend Vacation Bible School. Mark your calendar for July 30th – August 1st from 8:30 am – 11 am. VBS is a summer staple in Jones, and the church has been working hard to make sure this year’s adventure will be safe for children and families. The amended version of VBS will be shortened to three days and will include mostly outdoor activities. Children are advised to come dressed to have fun and get dirty.

God does not give us a spirit of fear; but of power, love and self-control.

2 Timothy 1:7

The motto this year is…Know God, No Fear. Children will be learning the bible verse 2 Timothy 1:7, and what a fitting season for them to know the power of God even in uncertain times.

Saturday, families are invited to join in the fun, to enjoy some water activities with their children and free hot dogs and snow cones at the end of the day. Jan Blair, FBC Jones Children’s Director, has been working diligently all summer to prepare for this week.

We’re excited to provide a safe environment for the kids to come together to learn how secure we are in Gods love while having fun .
