The Jones Longhorns Head Coach Dave Martin has been in the coaching business for 23 years. The 2020 season is a season unlike any other.

The COVID-19 virus has impacted virtually every area of the American life in 2020, and that impact will be felt on the gridiron as well. The Jones Longhorns will travel to the West Side of Oklahoma City to clash with the Bethany Bronchos of Class 4A Friday evening at 7:00 on the Campus of Southern Nazarene University.
The Longhorns come into the contest with high expectations coming off a 2019 campaign that saw the Longhorns go undefeated in District Play and advance to the second round of 2A playoffs. The Longhorns had four players on The Oklahoman preseason All-State Team and a #2 ranking in the preseason poll.
A new aspect of the Jones Journal coverage of Longhorn football during this 2020 season will be the new Live Stream of the games. We are going to attempt a Live Stream on every Jones football game in 2020.
