On Friday, September 25, the Jones High School softball team had their first games back after a fourteen day quarantine, which took place after one of the girls tested positive for COVID-19. Jones played a double header against Millwood. The Longhorns crushed the Falcons 15-5 in the first game, and 18-14 in the second.
Jones played the best they’ve played all year, and after only one day of practice! The softball team came back recharged and ready for action after their quarantine. Rylea Messner (Senior) started pitching the first game, and Mack Mitchell (Freshman) started pitching the second game.
