The Jones Longhorns (8-2) will travel north 9.6 miles on Hogback Road to take on the Luther Lions (6-4) in the second round of the Oklahoma Class 2A Playoffs Friday November 20, 2020 at 7:00. After not meeting since 2011, the Longhorns and Lions will square off for the second time this season. Jones won the first battle 40-16 on September 11.
The Longhorns are lead by Junior Quarterback Carson May. May has thrown for 2,451 yards and 22 Touchdowns. May is also the leading Longhorn rusher, with 618 yards and 13 TDs. Senior Elijah Reed leads the Longhorns in all-purpose yards, with 644 receiving yards and 319 rushing yards to go with 11 Touchdowns.
The winner of the contest will face off against the winner of the Washington/Purcell game next Friday night.
