Yesterday, September 14, 2021, the Oklahoma City Council voted unanimously to de-annex 42.37 acres, East of the Kickapoo Turnpike. According to reports from the OKC Planning Commission, this property is part of a housing development plan that will be annexed into the City of Harrah.

Earlier this year, on May 17, 2021, the City of Harrah passed Ordinance 2021-7 annexing an additional 146.09 acres into their jurisdiction. The City of Harrah continues to make huge strides in their economic development efforts, embracing the increased accessibility offered by the new Kickapoo Turnpike.
