Jones Cross Country Runners Place 13th at State Meet

As the warm October sun bathed the Cross County Course at Edmond Santa Fe High School, Jones Coach Jake Fielder had a smile on his face as he lingered near the finish line, “over half of our kids ran their fastest time of the year at the same Meet, that is about all you can ask for.” As he looked back at this year, there seemed to be an optimism for the future as well, “with six of our seven runners being Freshman or Sophomores, we are pretty excited.”

The Jones Boys Cross County team placed 13th at the State Cross Country Meet. 72 teams compete in Class 3A in the State of Oklahoma.
